Management is about command and responsibility; management may also be exclusively about events and processes; it can also be about managing people and aligning team members with the company goals, vision, and its values. Therefore, developing team unity and team spirit and enrolling others in new possibilities and setting targets and goals is essential to any managerial role, and this is where coaching offers a full assistance. Coaching will help managers to collaborate with employees / teams instead of controlling them. They will learn to delegate. Managers will through coaching learn to listen more to requirements of the team. They will give feedback instead of making judgements. Many times, employees are promoted to Managers, because of their technical or operational skills, but they may lack managerial skills.
